Introduction to @2K Theatre

We are an Amateur theatre group based in Taunton, Somerset and our mission is to bring quality theatre to the community. We want to be innovative, imaginative and inspire people through our productions and social events.

We started in 2012 and have produced a wide range of plays and have taken them on tour to villages across Somerset West and Taunton , as well as the Tacchi Morris Arts Centre in Taunton . Shows have varied from "Abigail's Party" to "Blackadder" and "The Thrill of Love" to "Old Actors Never Die ....... They Simply Lose the Plot".

We are a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) managed by a Committee of Trustees. The Committee is re-elected every year at the Annual General Meeting where members of the group can be nominated and elected to become Trustees. We encourage and welcome new members to join our Committee.

We are based at two venues close to Taunton Railway Station, called The Firebox Theatre and The Waiting Room, where we can watch the trains pass by.  We use the space to hold our costumes and props as well as a venue for productions, rehearsals and social events.
